Joanna Knueppel, born 1978, Honolulu, Hawaii, is currently studying Business/Accounting at the University of Innsbruck and is interested in the financial management of NGOs. In the US she worked as an Immigration Advisor and a Tax Advisor for non-residents. She served two years with the US Peace Corps in Guyana as an Education/Program Coordinator. When not reading tax law, she enjoys snowboarding, cooking, belly dancing, and learning Farsi.

For ICT4D.at, she is the first employee in our NGO and together with the chairman, is taking care of funding applications and fiscal planning and policy. She leads the controlling, accounting, and marketing aspects of ICT4D.at with Martin Konzett and is in charge of managing projects. She attends conferences as a speaker and is responsible for quality assurance for all content produced.
