This goal of this project is to provide reliable and free data regarding airstrips in Africa. We have developed a database with all the necessary airstrip data, including longitude, latitude, elevation, length, surface (gravel/grass), fuel availability, and radio frequencies. We are currently building a user interface for this project. This information should be available to mobile clients via SMS. Data will also go to Google Earth and OpenStreetMap.
